who we are

UrbanCrowdRaising is a project run by urbanita  [www.urban-ita.com], a multidisciplinary start up operating on the built and social environment.

urbanita has been funded by Deborah and Sharon, two Italians met in London, interested in the complex dynamics present in the cities.

UrbanCrowdRaising represents a tool to satisfy urbanita’s aims of encouraging inclusive cities where, on one hand, the inhabitants - involved with all their rights and duties - have the potentiality to experience the urban reality as users as well as active makers. We supports a civil, courteous, respectful and productive encounter between inhabitants and the city - and vice versa, proposing alternative strategies to foster a balanced (sustainable) urban development.
